What is Krelay.com?
Well, the K is for Karachi. A relay is an electrical device for connecting isolated circuits. Likewise, Krelay is for connecting isolated groups, welfare organizations, charities, sports or social clubs, and other like minded people.
Relay is also used in the sense of "a relay race". In much the same manner, Krelay aims to pass on information and knowledge with the spirit of teamwork.
Karachi Comment - Mr. 10% is back!
Ten per cent? That's an understatement. With inflation currently at around 240% and still rising, we are facing ten per cent per week! Even the business news on the much censored PTV cannot hide the weekly rise in the governments' own "Sensitive price index". Not only are we being hit by rising costs, but we are being tortured by the lack of electricity. How is anyone expected to earn a living when you can't even do your work, or sleep at night, with load-shedding occurring 6 to 8 times per day and often lasting four or five hours at a time. The recently introduced Daylight Saving Time is just a joke. The electricity is invariably off during that period so what exactly are we supposed to be saving?
We are also being tortured by the mobile phone companies. Ufone is sending so many SMS messages warning about having our SIMs blocked that they have prematurely succeeded in blocking my SIM - it is absolutely full of 824 messages. Since I can't charge the phone without electricity, I don't want to waste the remaining battery power deleting them.
Then we have to put up with Mr. 10% making ridiculous speeches on the TV. Does he actually speak ANY language correctly? The latest out-pouring has made Quaid-e-Azam a "Hazrat"! Well that's new! I'll leave the religious scholars to comment on that.
If you get the feeling that it is time to leave Pakistan, then you are not alone. The aircraft are fully booked and it is extremely difficult to get a seat for weeks ahead. But that is what I intend to do. So soon, krelay.com will be joining the overseas Pakistanis.

We have two sources of infinite, inexhaustible energy - gravity and magnetism. Not surprisingly, many people are actively trying to produce an 'engine' utilizing at least one of these principles.

Krelay.com has joined the big boys.
Now we have a truly international audience with visitors from every continent. In fact, the percentage of Pakistani visitors is relatively small now. Our traffic ranking and unique visitor counts have improved so much that we can safely say that we are no longer a "just starting" site, but a firmly established part of the Internet. All achieved in just 16 months!
Something missing? Yes, most advertisements have been removed temporarily so the pages seem to have big holes in them! Don't worry about it - you're not missing much!
Have you heard the audio adverts? Our pages have audio ads which you may hear if you have a javascript and flash enabled browser - AND your speakers turned on! This, we think, is the future for Internet advertising. The ads don't come very often yet and they only play in specific countries, so don't worry if you don't hear them.
